Cosmic Barrel Organ Simulator

(ALSO: if you get a white screen when playing, I'm very sorry, but your computer may just be too old to run the OpenGL version I'm using.)

This is a game prototype for the Mini Jame Gam #20, for the prompt "Out of Time", using an Organ (the instrument) as the special prop. Given the time-centric prompt, my take was to expand upon a custom MIDI animation framework I've had been writing, and turn it into a top-down shooter game! This turned out to be freaking difficult, since the tool was only ever meant to export videos and had no gamey notions like collision or player input, and then I spent most of the last day just getting the installer to work, so it really ended up more prototype than game anyway.

Whatever the case, I am happy to be done and I'm excited to play all the other submissions now.

Using the power of MIDI, it's completely time-based, both in enemy movement and player firing, and the music has a prominent organ belting it out I guess.
